CHRISTMAS ON THE ROAD (The Wild Atlantic Way || Clare)

Описание к видео CHRISTMAS ON THE ROAD (The Wild Atlantic Way || Clare)

This week we begin exploring the wild atlantic way through County Clare. We start off by driving away from the coast to visit the house that was used for the filming of Father Ted, although we find that Craggy Island is in fact not an island we are relieved to find it was at least craggy. This alien landscape is known as the Burren, a huge limestone pavement that covers a large region of Co. Clare. We visit a a popular hiking spot (the giant's playground) and decided it is time to head back to the coast but not before stopping at a neolithic tomb.
Once back on the wild atlantic way we find a spot to park up at for the night. We spend the next day glued to our laptops as Isabel works and Tom edits the vlog. Isabel finishes in time for us to head off and find a sunset on the waters edge. That night we drive on and find a park up near the Cliffs of Moher.
The next day is Christmas eve, and we spend the day hiking along the Cliffs of Moher. After our long hike we drive off to find water in Lahinch and a parking spot in Doonbeg where we will spend Christmas. That evening we are contacted by two of our followers, Matteo and Guilia, Italians that are unable to return home for Christmas and so we decide that we should have one together.
Christmas morning is spent enjoying bucks fizz and slowly cooking our Christmas Dinner in shifts in the omnia oven. Our guests arrive and we enjoy a Christmas dinner on the beach in the winter sun. After dinner we decide we must go for a dip in the ocean and then retreat to the van to warm up with boardgames and beers.
This is where we leave this weeks vlog. If you enjoyed the video please give us a like, we will really appreciate it.
If you want to see what we get up to in the Southwest of Ireland please consider following us.
And finally a huge thank you all for watching. We will see you next week as we prepare to enter into the New Year
