Prana Pratishtha (1/3)

During the prana pratishtha ceremony the deity is invited to enter the material form. From that moment onwards the deity is personally present in the form and the worship should be conducted according to the prescribed rituals and process.

Hindus believe that after a murti pratishtha, divinity enters murti. The murti is not simply an image but rather a living form of God.
