Explaining the BIGGEST My Little Pony ICEBERG

Edit (1/26/2024): So this video just keeps getting views huh? I guess I should say something about the inaccuracies and general lack of effort put into this video. I never expected this to become YouTube’s definitive MLP G4 iceberg, but here we are. When I first uploaded the video and it got 1,000 views I thought “okay, cool, I’m glad some people enjoyed it.” Now I’m sitting here wondering how it keeps getting recommended to so many on the daily.

Had I known this would be so popular I might’ve spend more time on it instead of rushing it so I could stop thinking about it. I didn’t script this video, nor did I do much research, instead I relied on my knowledge at the time and just went with it. Most entries I added myself, so I knew them, but I was not familiar with some of the other entries I took from other icebergs. Fankid AUs and the Kabbalah tree come to mind.

I got these wrong, fankid AUs refers to Alternate universes featuring headcanoned kids of different characters, and the Kabbalah tree is Jewish, not Buddhist.

I got a few other things wrong too I’m sure, and didn’t specify certain things were jokes, leading some to believe I was spreading more false info lol.

Do I regret it? No of course not, even though it’s low quality it is enjoyable and it has brought me an audience most spend way more time and effort building. I’ve thought about remaking this video, but if I ever do it’ll probably be far in the future, since I have other videos I wanna work on first.

Lastly, if you want a higher resolution image of the iceberg itself I made a new image and put it on my community tab not long ago. It has more pixels so you can actually read it, added a few entries, got rid of a few entries, and reorganized the layers based only on obscurity instead of putting nsfw stuff at the bottom.

With the start of G5 I think it's time to finally put together a "comprehensive" list of Generation 4's legacy. This is my attempt at making the biggest Iceberg for G4 as I realistically could. As I say in the video, it makes very little sense what belongs and what doesn't, but oh well.
