Chicken Stew with dumplings recipe

Hi guys

For this recipe you will need :


6 - 8 chicken pieces
1 tablespoon garlic salt/garlic flakes
1 tablespoon paprika(optional)
1 knorr stock cube ( chicken  or the beef one )
1 teaspoon tumeric ( I didn't use this in recipe but if you want to intensify the vibrant yellow colour I strongly recommend this )
1/2  medium onion chopped
4 button mushrooms  chopped  (optional )
Knorr vegetable curry soup  ( 2 tablespoon with 3 tablespoon water  we using this to thicken . See below for another thickening recommendation )
Carrots chopped ( to your preference )
Green beans ( to your preference )

Other thickening methods :
Use cream of chicken soup packet of cream of  mushroom
OR
Use plain cake flour  2 tablespoon with 3 tablespoon for thickening

Additional veggie options :
Potatoes
Butternut
Sweet potato

Dumplings recipe :

   • Steamed Bread Muffins /Idombolo Recipe   i added 1 tablespoon parsley
