Astroreality - Augmented Reality Solar System Mini Set

I review Astroreality's Solar System mini-set. It is a 3D printed solar system (Pluto included) but goes a step beyond the physical.

Instructions:
After receiving your model/set, install the app from Google Play or the App store.

Next, locate the QR code on the last page of the mini booklet for each planet.

Open the app, press "Add a product" and scan the QR code. It may take a few seconds if you have shaky hands.

Once the app has added the planet, place the black and white, plastic base plate into its box with the numbers and letters facing up.

Now, select the planet you just added and allow your phone or tablet to scan in the black and white base plate by scanning it with the camera.

NOTE * The black and white letters and numbers base plate cannot be blocked - not even by the planet. So remove the 3D printed planet from the base plate or the app will have issues keeping the augmented reality planet on the screen.

NOTE * Some reviewers of the app either couldn't get the app to work or had difficulty. I had no such issues using an iPad Air 2.

Hopefully, the app developers will add more features to allow more interaction with each planet's augmented reality interface. As of now, the mini only allows viewing of each planet. However, there is info about each planet.
