My thoughts:
This drive is extremely slow, but it sure sounds nice, in my opinion. Tandon is famous for two things: Poor quality, and being purchased by Western Digital in 1988, which lead to the WD90000 series and some of the very first IDE drives ever designed.
This example came for cost of shipping from a gentleman in the Commander X16 discord, and was attached to a hard card. It was featured in a mailbag video.
