Ranked Meeting in Morgantown Goes to Overtime vs #20 WVU - NCAA 14 Marquette Dynasty (Y5|W7) - Ep.65

Helllooo everybody and come along for the ride as I birth the Marquette Golden Eagles program on NCAA 14.

In this episode, Marquette heads to Morgantown for their first-ranked matchup of the season with #20 West Virginia. The Golden Eagles have enjoyed their first 5-0 start in program history but now face their toughest test of the season.

Dana Holgorsen has enjoyed tremendous success over the past few seasons, leading a fierce air raid offensive attack. Freshman QB Michael Williams projects to be a Freshman All-American as he gets more comfortable and poised after each game. Williams has many weapons at his disposal headlined by senior WR Daikiel Shorts and sophomore TE Tony Moore, along with senior RB Wendell Smallwood leading the backfield.

The Golden Eagles take a lead into the 4th quarter. However, junior QB Greg Walker struggles and tosses a couple of interceptions to aid a late rally from the Mountaineers as they pull out some late heroics to force overtime in Morgantown.

Now in the Top 25 for the first time this season, can Marquette overcome late adversity to stay undefeated and remain in the rankings?

In the next episode, we’ll get a Marquette Midseason Report. We’ll take an in-depth recruiting dive and fully scout our first five commits of Year 5. In addition, we’ll outline some in-season additions to the recruiting board and analyze our recruiting strategy going further.

Then we’ll jump around the nation and look at the Top 25 which has undergone extreme turnover after Ohio State lost last week after holding the#1 spot for years now.
