A viewer had this broken, non-running ATSF 4-6-4 from the 50's and was wondering if I could repair it. I figured "sure, why not?" and took on the challenge. Some hours of tuning, soldering and quartering later, and it turned out to be a pretty nice model! He already has it back, and he let me know that it arrived undamaged and is working well.

The old brass didn't always want to cooperate with my flux core solder. Maybe I should get myself a bottle of liquid flux sometime.
