How I got here:

20: Started a few different businesses in the ecommerce and marketing space while at uni in England.
21: Dropped out of uni after replacing my income with freelance copywriting.
22: Made $100,000 in 18 months completely solo, working from my bedroom in Ireland. Worked with Warner Bros, Panasonic, BBC, Burger King & 50+ name brands (You can google this, Business Insider wrote an article about it.)
23: Grew a niche YouTube channel for copywriters (Matthew Online) into a business helping copywriters actually grow freelance businesses
Made ~$250K per year with two part-time team members and ~80% margins.
24: Kept running the channel and moved to New York City solo for six months with zero contacts or plan.
Made lots of friends and loved it.
25: Moved to Dubai solo for a year to grow the business and see more of the world.
26: After hitting $1M in business revenue with 70%+ profit margins, I moved back to Ireland to be closer to family and started this channel
At the time of writing this, February 2026, I make 0 income from this YouTube channel.
Everything this channel makes over the next year will be reinvested into building better products and systems for the people watching.
