This Maneater boss guide walks you through two easy ways to defeat the Maneater Boss in the 3-2 Upper Latria area of Demon's Souls Remake. The guide is split into two parts, starting with melee builds first and then magic builds. Either option works, so pick whatever you prefer! Maneater can be a tough boss, especially for a new player. The tight boss arena and places to fall off make this a particularly difficult fight. Maneater is weak to both fire and magic damage, so bringing in magic or fire buffs for your weapon is a good strategy. You can also use weapons that have natural magic or fire damage, such as the Crescent Falchion of Dragon Longsword.

For casters, bring in Soul Ray or Fireball to make this an easy fight at range. Note: while the Thief ring can make it a bit easier to get opportunities to heal during this fight, it also works against you in that the boss will often lose complete track of you. Take the Thief Ring off to re-engage with Maneater.
