2007 xc90 v8 valve covers removed

trying to figure out the source of a noise. All pulleys seem to be spinning correctly with no noise or wiggle so it's leading me to believe its the balance shaft bearing. this is a 2007 v8 and as far as I know or can find the balance shaft issue only happens on 2005-2006 models.
