Gravel road on our motorcycle to Nieu - Bethesda in the Karoo (S1EP23)

Deep in the heart of the Karoo, in the Eastern Cape, South Africa is a beautiful little town called Nieu Bethesda. This is where we are going today, a very short ride from Graaff-Reinet. But the road there wasn't as we planned... with heavy winds and closed roads, we are forced to ride towards a mountain that looked like Mount Doom in Mordor!

Hi we are Werner & Cissy, husband and wife who sold everything. Packed the bikes and hit the road! Now we are full time adventure motorcycle travelers, living off our bikes one km at a time!
