Seitei Iai Kata

'Iaido' is the art of Japanese sword-drawing. This video shows my performance of the seitei iai kata 1-12 (basically, a series of prescribed actions against one or more opponents in different scenarios). My particular style of iaido is muso shinden ryu.

This video is not intended to demonstrate proper technique - I am well aware that I have plenty of room for improvement in technique, fluidity, tempo, and dynamics. I am a mudansha (ikkyu) and have only been training for a few years, so I am relatively new on my journey. I just posted the video so that my friends and family have an idea of what I'm talking about when I say that I am an iaidoka.
