“Tesoro is something special. Other areas of Nicaragua, with fancy hotels and big price tags, have limited beach access and nothing as spectacular as this. The beaches are crowded, and surfers sit and wait for waves with limited ability to catch one. There are rocks on the other beaches whereas ours is sandy and tranquil. People who have come to Tesoro after being in San Juan del Sur, Popoyo, or El Transito lose it when they come here”.
