How to Remove dye without BLEACH

I decided it was time for a new color but didn't want to use bleach to removed the color like I use to in the past. After watching AkaAislinn's video (   • REMOVING HAIR COLOR NO BLEACH | BAKIN...  ) on how to removed hair color with bleach, I decided to try it out for myself. I used vol 10 developer, Ion Booster, Baking soda, Dawn Dish soap and purple shampoo. I was not expecting my hair to go back to the color it was when i bleached it and the purple shampoo in the mixture toned it as well. I was very pleased!!
