Harry Langdon - Three's A Crowd (1927)

Harry lives in a shack atop a warehouse and one day finds a woman lying on the ground who he rescues. The woman turns out to be pregnant and Harry falls in love with her thinking he'll become her husband and father to the baby, but she is married and still loves her husband despite running away from him.
