The Supreme Court of Pakistan dissolved a newly-formed four-member bench on Friday, which was assigned to hear the PTI petition about the delay in Punjab's elections. This decision was made after Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail decided to excuse himself from the case.

The bench was initially constituted earlier on the same day by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial, which included Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Munib Akhtar, and Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail. However, it is the second time the bench has been dissolved as the original five-member bench was dissolved on Thursday due to the recusal of Justice Aminuddin Khan.
