Today we came to Eminonu neighborhood, which is an old and vibrant area. Even though Istanbul is on holiday for a few days, as you can see, it's always bustling here, serving as both a tourist destination and the main market of Istanbul.
If you have visited Istanbul, you have probably been to this place, and if not, I highly recommend you to visit this lively and beautiful city in the future.
Right next to the bridge and the quay, there are these street restaurants that welcome you with fresh ingredients. The main dishes in these restaurants are mainly fish and mussel, also known as "midie," accompanied by refreshing drinks and their delicious pickles.
They place freshly caught fish, cleaned and prepared, in a marinate and grill it on a cast-iron grill.
Today, we had a fish sandwich consisting of very fresh fish, along with lettuce and onions. It's simple yet incredibly delicious. On the dining table, there is also lemon juice as a sauce and salt, which you can add to your sandwich. If you love seafood, I highly recommend you to visit this area, especially this restaurant. We chose this restaurant because of the friendly staff and their fresh food.
The atmosphere here is energetic, and as you walk around this area, they invite you to their restaurant.
One interesting thing was that the entire kitchen of this restaurant was on a relatively large boat. Can you believe it?
They provide quick service, and when you place your order, your food is ready in less than 2 to 3 minutes.
We ordered the fish sandwich with pickles and water, which totaled $4.
We had a great experience, and we will definitely visit them again.
