2 HRs Watching Airplanes, Aircraft Identification | Amsterdam Airport Plane Spotting [AMS/EHAM] #2

Amsterdam Airport is one of the worlds busiest airports and Europe’s 3rd busiest airport. Amsterdam is KLMs home base and also known as a heaven for plane spotting, with very unobstructed views due to canals separating airside and landslide instead of fences, making from some great shots!

This video I filmed on a sunny morning with the elusive runway 18R operations in use. When I say elusive I do mean for me and me only, because out of all the days I have filmed at AMS, I very very rarely catch 18R operations and get almost exclusively 36 operations. The intention behind this video is to let people chill out and enjoy watching some smooth landings with no obstructions and at the perfect spot! This video was filmed by me in its entirety!

This video starts out being filmed at the end of an emergency gate beside the Polderbaan and then we progress to the other side of the runway where the bike track can be found. By doing this we keep the sun behind us the entire time, providing the best footage possible!

You will notice a lot of KLM international flights in this video and also US airlines, as that was when most of those land at AMS. The morning rush truly is busy and as an Australian plane spotter, something really cool to experience!
