How to Whitewash Wood Furniture

How to easily whitewash sanded furniture for a natural look. Tone down orange or golden tones from coming through your top coat sealer. Add a simple paintwash after you sand you piece and before you apply your top coat to seal.

Tip: you can use any waterbased paint you like (besides chalk paint as I haven’t tested it) . Hardware store wall paint is also fine to use. I like to choose an off white or light tan, a colour that is close to the wood you are applying it to. But you really can’t go wrong!
