In this episode of the Cast Net Sniper, we discuss the process of learning to master the cast net. Its my goal to teach as many people to throw the cast net as possible. We start by teaching about the nets, showing the different mesh sizes and talk about the weights of the beginner nets. I show several great beginner options and we talk about some really simple techniques to perfectly open your beginner net.
Once you have mastered that technique, we progress to a slightly more difficult technique for a intermediate 8 foot cast net. This net is much bigger than the beginner net & much heavier as well. The technique is very effective at opening a cast net almost every time.
Once you have mastered the intermediate net, you can move on to the expert throwing techniques. This technique is the best at throwing a very big cast net. Throw with incredible power with this backhand throw! This throwing style is very common in Brazil and other south American countries. You will improve your fishing dramatically using my techniques taught in this video and catch many more fish.
Always remember, practice, practice, practice and you will eventually master these 4 throwing methods.
