This year Chinchpokli Sarvjanik Utsav Mandal organized a visarjan procession in a flower-decked bus carrying silver Chintamani idol with fully vaccinated limited mandal members. Chintamani visarjan procession usually completes on the next day but considering COVID regulations this year the procession began at 3PM and completed by 5PM. Procession started with the traditional well-known aarti from Chintamani Mandap and continued with the same route via Lalbaug, Satrasta Mahalaxmi, Mumbai Central, Opera House and then Giragaum chowpatty. Chintamani immersion procession with flower decorated bus recalled the memories of warkaris carrying 'Padukas' during Ashadhi Ekadashi.
