The game was tied at 3 with 7 minute left in the 1st quarter before Rutgers scored 6 straight to go up 9-3 and lead the rest of the game. Graduate Student Attackman Adam Charalambides, Graduate Student Attackman Kieran Mullins, Freshman Midfielder Shane Knobloch, Junior Midfielder David Sprock, and Graduate Student Attackman Conor Kirst all had 4 points or more on the day. Senior Midfielder Griffin Hughes posted 5 goals while Junior Attackman Jack Myers added 2 goals and 3 assists for the Buckeyes. Ohio State falls to 1-1 while Rutgers remains undefeated at 2-0.
