Welcome back to the channel of today’s video we got multiple tap changes to sort out. We have some basins. Some of them are simple. Some of them are tricky a bath mixer which has real limited access and also a toilet which need fix it so probably have to fit some new parts in that and the end of the video on one basin job I’m gonna give you a quick rundown on how I got into Plumbing

So the first job is a basin with some leaking flexible houses underneath so I’m gonna have to replace them fit some new ones and connect back onto the isolation valves now as the isolation valves aren’t leaking. I’m gonna leave them in place because this job has lots to do this is just a more economical way. You normally see me rip out the flexible houses and hard pipe but on today’s video and this job I’m just gonna do it this way.

So in theory we have three basins with identical taps to swap out in the main bathroom the basin I’m just gonna speed run it so I just set you down and one sort of angle and I can show you exactly how fast it is to swap out these basin taps. The bath mixer however is real limited space and I mean really limited so I’m lucky that I have these hand finger spanners which are actually got me out of trouble as a box spanner doesn’t fit the small brass nuts and thankfully I can actually end doing with this hand spanner so after releasing the flexible houses I can get at the back nut to swap out the taps and then using a box spanner as normal Able to make sure that the new tap tiles are nice and sturdy before doing up the flexible hoses back with the spanner.

I drop a link further down to where you can get this from, but thanks God somebody came out with this idea and it actually does get me out of a lot of trouble especially when you can’t swing a spanner underneath. The bathroom basin taps done in his bathroom it’s time to tackle the toilet and upon first glance I thought that the float valve was just stuck so I took them apart to change the washer and part of the actual body snapped now I know this probably would be okay, but I’m not taking any chances in this nice house so I’m gonna give it a full strip out of a full valve and I’m gonna be installing a viva Float valve which has a bra shank and should last a lot longer.

After installing a new Phil valve I pulled down on the handle and it sounded so dry that I think the washer on the inside is either catching or the mechanism is broken so while we’re here I’m just gonna take it off and fit a new siphon and cyst to bolt down onto the pan . Sometimes it’s a nice easy job never you just have to crack on with it and try and Futureproof as long as possible.

 I really like doing any small a lot of jobs as the customers are really thankful to be able to get the import services back up and running. There is a few other outside jobs to do so I’m gonna make that into a separate video as they can be quite interesting as well.
