🚪 Took 1 year to finish all platform gates! Tai Po Market Station Platform 1 platform gates progress

This video was filmed between 2024/02/25 & 05/21.
Tai Po Market Station is the 2nd East Rail Line station to start installing platform gates, but the 5th one to finish all platform gates. It took about a year to finish all platform gates, although there were quite a few months of gap between Platform 2,3's and Platform 1's platform gate work. The first 2 platform gates at Platform 1 were installed in late February. It was then fully operational by mid-May. At the time of uploading, Fanling, Tai Wo, Fo Tan and Tai Wai Stations are installing platform gates. All stations of the East Rail Line will be installed with platform gates before the end of 2025.

大埔墟站是第2個開始安裝閘門的東鐵綫車站，但卻是第5個完成安裝所有閘門的車站，耗時約1年，雖然安裝2、3號月台和1號月台之間有數個月的空白時間。1號月台閘門於2月尾開始安裝，到5月中全面投入服務。截至影片上載時間，正在安裝閘門的車站有粉嶺、太和，火炭和大圍站。東鐵綫所有車站將會在2025年或之前完成安裝閘門。
