Project overview
We repainted zinc/galvanised corrugated roof sheets plus fascia and barge boards. The roof was inspected for leaks and loose sheets; the client confirmed there were no leaks and no defects requiring structural repair.

Preparation and inspection
Roof inspection: checked for loose nails, lifted sheets, and visible corrosion; no active leaks found.
Cleaning: sanded rust spots, removed dirt and dust, and cleared gutters of leaves, plastics, toys, and branches.

Rust treatment and waterproofing
Rust treatment: corroded areas were treated with a red-oxide protective coating.
Roof coating: the entire roof received at least two coats of charcoal-coloured acrylic liquid waterproofing; heavily weathered sections received additional coats for extra protection.

Fascia and barge boards
Preparation: scraped and sanded to remove all loose, peeling paint.
Safety: used eye protection and dust masks while scraping and sanding.
Finish: applied a full coat of primer, then two coats of white gloss enamel.

Safety and workmanship
This high roof required a careful, methodical approach, full PPE, and a coordinated team to ensure safety and a high-quality finish.
