Ustad Shoukat Manzoor Ali Khan was born in Gujrat, Punjab where he received his musical training from Ustad Rehmet Ali Khan of Kapurthala. Khan saheb has also taken inspiration from Ustad Salamat Ali Khan of Sham Chaurasia gharana.
