Here’s Why That Actually Matters

Here’s something that might shock you… Jesus never once says the words, ‘I love you”
he does say in John 15:9 “As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love.”
That is Jesus saying “I love you” just in biblical covenant language, not modern phrasing.

Why this verse matters so much

The source of His love
Jesus ties His love for us to the Father’s love for Him.
That means:
It’s eternal, not emotional
Unchanging, not conditional
Perfect, not fragile

He’s saying: The same quality of love the Father has for Me… I give to you.

So does that mean He didn’t love people? Not even close.”

And He laid down His life on a cross (John 15:13).

Jesus didn’t just say love, He defined it.

“If you’ve ever doubted God’s love for you… this is your sign.”

Jesus never actually said the words “I love you” but He showed it in ways no one ever had before.
