Meet Selcuk Akkas - Founder and Principal Attorney
Selcuk Akkas was born in Eregli, Konya, and completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown before moving to Istanbul to pursue a law degree. After graduating from Istanbul University Law School, he completed his legal internship and qualified as an attorney in 1992. Mr. Akkas served as a military judge at the Military Court of the Turkish Armed Forces in Ankara, fulfilling his obligatory military service.
In 1994, he joined Eczacibasi Ilaç Pazarlama, Turkey's largest pharmaceutical company, where he gained invaluable experience in business law and intellectual property rights. Seeking to further his expertise, Mr. Akkas moved to Houston, Texas in 1998, where he studied Legal English and earned a master’s degree in American and international law at Lone Star College. During his time in the USA, he interned at various American companies and law offices, enriching his knowledge in business and international law.
