After 14 long years with Haryana, Harshal Patel has made a big career move in Indian domestic cricket. The experienced pacer has signed with Gujarat for the 2025/26 season and will be part of their pre-season preparations, starting with a tri-series later this month featuring Baroda and Saurashtra.

Interestingly, Harshal began his career with Gujarat, making his List A debut in the 2008-09 season following a stellar U-19 run. But after the 2010 U-19 World Cup, he moved to Haryana, where he made his first-class debut in 2011-12 and became a key member across formats. Now, after more than a decade, Harshal returns to Gujarat in what could be a new chapter for his domestic career.
