The One with the first teaching job in the UK | Summer 2024 |

I am glad I made it til the end and I am glad I earned this opportunity, embraced it with courage, positivity and grateful attitude. This summer job has enriched my life with experiences, beautiful memories and friends for life.

My students - they are my very first international students and I learned that it’s the same everywhere. If you are a good teacher, they will appreciate and love you no matter what. They have taught me a lot, probably more than what I have taught them in the course.

The fact that they are so diverse, so different in personality, in levels of English, in motivation teaches me that I must never stop improving myself. That’s my biggest takeaway from this experience: never stop improving myself.

I have learned to care and love them so much that at some points I wish I could be just better, just more creative, just more fun. I wish I would have more time to focus on each one of them.

I am grateful for this opportunity and I am proud of myself for everything.
