I found this Amanita bisporigera aka destroying angel while out hiking with my eurorack modular synth… obviously I had to hook it up because it is one of the two most deadly mushrooms. Some people want to argue that the death cap is more poisonous however there have not been a ton of studies done on determining exact concentrations of amatoxins in large samplings of death caps and or destroying angels. The studies that have been done have been on a relatively small sample and all show the amatoxin range for both destroying angels AND death caps to be .2-.4 mg/g. More studies are not needed as a big bite of either will kill you in an excruciating painful way. Extreme caution is urged! Do NOT accidentally consume these mushrooms, they are however perfectly safe to touch.
