The Ratchada Train Market, also known as Rot Fai Market, was one of the hottest tourist destinations in Bangkok, but did the night market survive the pandemic? Lets find out in this video!

Unfortunately the Ratchada Train Market we loved and remember, is temporarily closed, it was closed on the July of 2021 due to not being able to open in the pandemic situation.

However, the Good news is Ratchada Train Market has taken a new form, under the same owner, and opened a new market called Jodd Fairs near the Phra Ram 9 MRT station.

The Jodd Fairs, have kept some of its old attractions with classic cars sitting around as decorations, the stores have taken up a new white tents look and I liked it a lot more compared to the random tent colours from the old market.
Although the new Jodd fairs market is a lot smaller in comparison, the owner has taken the quality over quantity approach.

The food selection here is so good! Whether you like restaurants or street foods, there will be something to satisfy your hunger, the Leng saap restaurant have relocated to the market, surprising visitors with their mountains of pork ribs covered with green pepper and chilis.

If you prefer street foods rather than eating in a restaurants, then you are in luck, most of the stores offers Thai street foods but there are some Japanese, Korean and western foods, the BBQs, skewers, papaya salads, seafoods like grilled shrimps and squids, fruit juices, desserts and many more....
