I needed a temporary solution to get my sub-compact tractor and equipment under cover and out of the sun and weather. So I put up this cheap car canopy in the spring and it was a perfect 3 season solution, but there is no way it will make it through the winter months...

Come along as I take the $99 Harbor Freight car canopy and close it in and reinforce it to hold up to the harsh Northern Michigan winter that will soon threaten to collapse it.

Update Notes: The reinforced car port has lasted 3 years with regular repairs being made to the tyvek sides due to wind and bear damage.

It is a much sturdier frame, and the sides would hold up better.
