EICHLER HOMES Part 1-Walking the Fairmeadow Neighborhood with Inside Home Tours | Orange, California

Take a walk back in time to the 1960's in the Fairmeadow neighborhood in Orange, California and see the interior of two amazingly well restored mid-century modern design Eichler homes during their open house.

The Fairmeadow neighborhood is one of three housing tracts in Orange County developed by Joseph Eichler in the 1960's. These Eichler-designed homes are considered iconic examples of mid-century modern architecture, and are great examples of what is now considered "retro" design. In 2018, the City of Orange designated the communities of Fairmeadow, Fairhaven, and Fairhills as historic disticts, and adopted procedures to ensure their long-term preservation.
