Cruising to the sandbar "Engelsche Hoek" between the islands of Terschelling and Vlieland. On this sandbar, that stays dry with normal flood tides, there is a population of over 500 seals.
There are Grey Seals, that give birth in wintertime, and there are the Common Seals that give birth in summertime.
from the islands there are regular seal tours. Something I do by board.
