Saving lives under fire: Ukraine's frontline medics | DW News

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion thousands of doctors and nurses have joined Ukraine's Armed Forces in the fight – for saving soldiers' lives. At one frontline hospital in eastern Ukraine, more than 18 months into the war, personnel continue to face both a steady influx of injured fighters and haunting memories.
