Turkey applies to join BRICS | Asli Aydintasbas

Bloomberg news agency reports that Turkey has officially applied to join BRICS.
BRICS was founded in 2009 by Brazil, Russia, India and China. South Africa joined in 2010. Now, in a major expansion, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates have joined the bloc this year. Saudi Arabia has said it's considering joining, and Azerbaijan has formally applied.
Asli Aydin-tasbas, a fellow at the Brookings Institution, joined TVP World to discuss what Turkey's membership in Brics could mean for Turkey, but also for the West and NATO.
