Visiting the Aljaferia Palace in Zaragoza.
This palace was built in the second half of the 11th century according to Islamic architecture. After the reconquest of Zaragoza in 1118 by Alfonso I, Christianity came to power.
Peter IV of Aragon (1319–1387) used it as a royal residence.
In 1492, it was converted into a palace for the Catholic rulers.

Today, the regional parliament of Aragon functions there.
