For several years I always have to recharge my AC due to a slow leak. I can't figure out the leak since the system has no dye on it. I was planning on putting a dye but there's just no availability on the market until recently. Unfortunately recharging the system has its drawback. The refrigerant oil leaks out too over time and causing internal damage to the scroll compressor. I have to replace the ac compressor, ac condenser and expansion valve in the process, costing me around $200. The ac compressor is a used one from a low mileage hybrid Camry in Minnesota (got into collision).
