Sporting a fetching shade of red, BR(W) 6959 'Modified Hall' Class - 6989 "Wightwick Hall" climbs the 1-in-75 gradient into Sharpthorne Tunnel on the Bluebell Railway, during their ‘New Years Day Gala’. The red livery adorning the locomotive is indicative of its starring role in the new Harry Potter series which is currently under production, with 6989 taking on the role of “Hogwarts Castle”; the locomotive which hauls ‘The Hogwarts Express’.

After seeing 5972 "Olton Hall" the previous day at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, this made 6989 the second red 'Hall' spotted in as many days.
