Iran attacks Israel: Is this potentially the start of World War 3?

On April 13, Iran launched hundreds of military drones and missiles toward Israel in a retaliatory attack following the killing of Iranian General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, in Israeli airstrikes on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus on 1 April.

The tension in the Middle East is already at an all-time high since 7 October 2023, when Hamas launched a surprise attack Israel, in which at least 1,200 people were killed and several hundred were taken hostage.

Israel responded by killing more than 30,000 people in Gaza.

Clarence Ford interviews Zeenat Adam, former diplomat and independent international relations strategist about what this latest violence means for the Middle East and the world.
