Clémentine - Kilikia

Описание к видео Clémentine - Kilikia

I choose to dedicate this song to Hovhannes Hajinyan, an Armenian pantomime who tragically died during the war that happened in September 2020 in Artsakh.
The reason I've decided to dedicate this song to him is very interesting and kind of mysterious... At that time I was in Yerevan helping soldiers and people from Artsakh. I had just learned this beautiful Armenian song called Kilikia. One day, my mother in law and I had to take a taxi. We were having a chat with the taxi driver when he suddenly told us that Hovhannes was his son and also shared with us that he is originally from Kilikia. On the way, I asked him if he wanted me to sing Kilikia as a tribute to his city. He agreed. By the end of the ride, we all had tears in our eyes. Then, as a present, he didn't charge us for the ride which I thought was very touching. That is why, as a remembrance to this magical moment and to his son, I decided to dedicated this song to Hovhannes Hajinyan.
