President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and President Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of Korea witness the presentation of the newly inked agreements and hold a joint press conference at the President's Hall in Malacañan Palace on October 7, 2024.

The Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) cover strategic initiatives to strengthen the areas of maritime security, economy, development cooperation, energy, tourism and infrastructure.

President Yoon Suk Yeol’s state visit is a significant milestone as it marks the first bilateral visit of a South Korean President to the Philippines after more than a decade, aimed at advancing the robust cooperation of the two countries towards the attainment of mutually beneficial goals.
