How to make Bolivian Marraquetas?

My husband is from Bolivia and we live in Florida. As a household, we always try to cook as many dishes from Bolivia as possible so our kids can get to know the cuisine of the country where their father came from.
Some of the recipes we have to modify a little because of the ingredients and some for the altitude. Here in Miami, we are at almost sea level but the recipes are usually handed to us from my mother in law who lives in Potosi, Bolivia and that's about 14k feet above sea level. So timing of cooking/baking as well as how much water we use varies a lot.

This video shows how we make marraquetas at home. It's not an expert video and we are definitely not bread makers, we just love this bread and wanted to share our recipe with others.
