RECIPES

Lemon Cake with Lemon Cream Cheese Buttercream
Ingredients:
• 1 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
• 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 cup buttermilk
• Zest of 2 lemons
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Lemon Cream Cheese Buttercream:
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
• 3 cups powdered sugar
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 1–2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.

4. Mix in lemon zest, juice, and vanilla.

5. Add flour mixture and buttermilk alternately.

6. Pour batter into pan and bake 40–45 mins until toothpick comes out clean.

7. Let cake cool completely before frosting.

8. For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.

9. Add powdered sugar gradually, then mix in lemon zest, juice, and vanilla.

10. Frost cake generously and garnish with lemon slices or fresh berries if desired.



Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta
Ingredients:
• 2 ½ cups heavy cream
• ½ cup whole milk
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste or extract
• 2 ½ tsp unflavored gelatin
• Fresh berries for topping

Instructions:

1. In a saucepan, warm cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla over medium heat—don’t boil.

2. In a separate bowl, bloom gelatin in 3 tbsp cold water for 5 mins.

3. Stir bloomed gelatin into warm cream mixture until dissolved.

4. Pour into glasses or ramekins and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

5. Garnish with fresh berries before serving.
