JANUARY 2021 ALLURE BEAUTY BOX | Opinionated Horsewoman

The January Allure Beauty box has arrived, let's see if it is worth the $23.

Allure was one of my favorite boxes for 2020, now that their price is so much higher is it worth it? I say NOPE! Now that it is priced nearly the same as IPSY Plus and Boxycharm (both $25), $23 and a maybe 2-3 full sized products (supposed to guarantee three, this month IMO there were 2, Allure says 3) they lag behind their competitors who are only priced $2 more and guarantee more full-sized items. At a lower price-point, Glossybox is priced at $18 per month, and newer box Eyescream Beauty is just $24 a month and like Allure, sends 5-7 items in their box. The products in Allure are nice and most are high-end, however when you are being sent tiny samples at 3ml or 5ml, this box DOES NOT compare to the competitors.

Until October 1, 2020, Allure had been a $15 monthly subscription beauty box available in the US. Beginning October 1, 2020 their subscription price jumped to $23 per month!
