It has been an Honor to meet so many Lao people throughout America. Each person upbringing is Unique depending on their Surroundings and which State and Lao Community they grew up in.

I have met Lao People with Southern Accent (Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas) and New York Boston Accent.

The Lao People in California gets Live with such a Diverse Community with a Large Lao Communities. Representation (Lao New Year, Lao Events, Lao Restaurants in Mainstream).

The Lao Community in other Sates with a Smaller Lao Communities and Dominant with caucasian. Many of the time. The newer Lao American Generations, not all. Have mentioned that they feel disconnected to their Roots and Culture. As there is not much Representation.

Some later on, learn about their Roots. And Reconnect through Online Platforms and Research
