Woodturning - Carving Mallet with Lead Insert [Sapele and Ash]

I needed a carving mallet, so I thought I'd build one. I love the idea of a weighted head so I poured some molten lead into it to make an insert. Made of Sapele with an Ash handle to absorb the impact shock I think this will do the job. I had a problem with my Woodturning lathe bed being too short, but got over it!
