I'm Matt with etrailer. Today I got Jay here from Westin. Thanks for stopping by. Yeah, happy to be here. So we're gonna be going over a little bit about what all they have today. So Jay, tell us a little bit about Westin.
Yeah, so I like to think Westin is a market leader in the truck accessory world. We've been around over 40 years, got three facilities in the US, Minnesota, Texas. Then our home office is in San Dimas, California. That's where we've got our full R&D staff. That's where all the customer service is based.
We kind of have our hands in a bunch of different categories. So steps, running boards, now truck cabs to tonneau covers, grill guards, winches. It's a kind of a complete offering for whatever, you know, your neighbors might wanna add to their vehicle. That is a ton of stuff. (Jay laughs) Now- There's more.
(both men laughing) Now if you guys have any experience with any of these products, please let us know how you're using 'em in either a picture, review or comment. We'd love to hear how you're using it. So let's take a step over here, and kind of focus on your guys' tonneau covers. Now I'm still a little bit green when it comes to tonneau covers. So could you let us know a little bit more about 'em Yeah, so one thing about Westin, we're always coming out with new products.
So this is a whole new category for us. So we're both a little green. (Matt chuckles) So we came out with a soft tri-fold, a soft roll up, then we have a hard tri-fold, and a hard roll up. We'll probably have a couple more designs coming, you know, later on this year. The soft tri-fold that we have here on this F-150, this is one of the more economical options for a customer on a budget. Or, you know, somebody who maybe isn't too great with installs. This installs really quickly. You know, I put this on in under 30 minutes. Nice. So, you know, if somebody's looking for bed protection, you know, keep their stuff outta the elements, this is an inexpensive way to accomplish that. And I know you said it's on a budget, but I gotta say, it still looks pretty nice. Yeah, yeah. It's kind of that sweet spot where it's not, you know, this isn't the bottom of the barrel offering, but it's not, you know, super expensive. So it's marine grade vinyl, all the crossbars and everything, that's all aluminum. So it's made well, but yeah, it's not gonna, it's not gonna break the bank. And it's easy to operate. You can take it off really quickly. So if you wanted to utilize like the full, you know, size of your bed, you can take the whole thing off in, you know, a couple minutes. Nice. I know you said it's easy to operate and you showed me earlier. Show that off real quick. Matt There it is. There you go. Matt Yep. You can stop there if you want, or you can keep going. And then, we give you a little strap to tuck in right there. And now it's secure going down the road. But yeah, so it does take up a little bit of your bed. If you want to use the whole thing, you can undo. There's a little thumb wheel in here. And then the whole thing can come off. And then we give you, you see that little red strap This is basically your safety strap. So in the event that, you know, you didn't tighten it down enough, or something happens, you have that backup kind of redundancy with that extra clamp there. Yeah. Compared to other tonneau covers I've worked with, especially more of the soft variety, this is probably one of the easier ones or maybe even the most easy. It's kind of hard to say. Yeah. And like one of the big benefits too is since the rail is all built in, you don't have an extra rail that goes on top he
